Module 2: Operator advice for the installation phase

The operator should already be intensively involved in the installation during the installation. In the best case, a Project Manager supervises all installation phases and milestones until acceptance.
As soon as the installation of the electrical equipment and the automation systems begins, it is advisable to have at least one first future maintainer involved in the team of installers and commissioners. In this way, valuable know-how can be built up for the operational phase, which is hardly possible afterwards.
A special challenge exists when projects (e.g. the installation and integration of additional plants) have to be realised during operation.
Suitable schedules and milestones for the installation and the qualification requirements for the accompanying maintenance staff can be coordinated with the Project Management as needed.
